Before pressure washing we soft wash.
The gentle application of cleaning solutions is known as soft washing. A soft wash pretreatment terminates organic matter on the surface, subsurface, and between blocks. This process allows us to use significantly lower PSI when pressure washing. Lower PSI pressure washing negates the risk of etching and scarring, which is an all too common result of high pressure.
**Surfaces such as stone, brick, wood, and composite decking may only require soft washing with a gentle rinse.**
Once the pretreatment has rested for at least 15 minutes, we proceed with a mild pressure washing of the entire surface including all accessible separations and edges.

After pressure washing, a post-treatment of the same cleaning solutions are applied and allowed to rest. This process extends the surface's resilience against reemerging organic matter and removes the concern of unsightly cleaning lines. Without the post-treatment, unsightly cleaning lines will be visible once the surface has dried or as organic growth returns.
The solutions will be active for 24 hours. Please wait until the surface dries before walking on it and only walk on the surface while wearing shoes. Do not touch the surface with bare skin. If you have pets, do not allow them to walk on the surface.
